Description

Communications Intern,  Cambridge, Massachusetts – U.S. based only 

Responsibilities

Support RefugePoint’s communication activities, including but not limited to monitoring and evaluating media reports, managing social media platforms, and organizing events.

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in the mission of RefugePoint and refugee protection
  • Students working towards a degree in a related field (humanitarian affairs, political science, communications, marketing, etc)
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills (English proficiency required)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Applicants with design skills are encouraged to apply (photography, film, illustration etc)
  • A sense of humor, patience and diplomacy
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of ten weeks for no less than sixteen hours per week
  • Must be legally able to live and work in the United States. No travel stipend or visas provided
